About the artist

My name is Jim Walsh. I began my artistic journey as a child when I drew Binky from the back of a matchbook and sent it off to a well known artist's correspondence course. My parents were shocked when a fat envelope addressed to me arrived in the mail. 

They declined to write a check for the lessons but did buy pencils, paints and paper.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Kansas City Art Institute and went on to a career in Graphic Arts at a time when digital processes were just beginning. 

Some sites will take your photos and use software to apply various art filters to create a print. While there's nothing wrong with that, it's not what you'll get here.
